So I went to Korea on a visa run recently, ahem not a recommended place for that from Taiwan, but had a great time eating delicious foods, visiting some of my fav places, and meeting up with good friends.
What exactly did I do?
- Eat lots and lots of Dakkarbi (spicy chicken cooked w vegetables and dok, rice cakes), a must try
- Go to the Jimjirbang, Dragon Hill Spa, probably the best one in Seoul. Sleep there overnight for only $12, its awesome!
- Get my visa, that was kinda the point of the trip, and was just a slight cause of paranoia
Inside Ehwa Univ, my friend's school,
with French-Designed architecture, love it.
LucyCato: Hands down my fav cafe in Korea, smack in front of Ewha Univ. Very chill tunes and sweet decour.
The main entrance to Dragon Hill Spa (Jimjirbang)
Exit Yongsan Subway station, go down the escalator, and its on your right.
Shoe Lockers! The first thing you do after paying is store you shoes away in a huge complex of ventilated shoe containers.
