I currently live back in San Mateo, California. I moved back from Seoul the end of last year.

I love asia, and have been trying to find a way to merge my desire to live here with a functional career etc, however ultimately forward progress in life takes precedence over perpetuating a wishful lifestyle...

In 2010-2011 I lived in Taipei, Taiwan. Taipei is still my favorite city in Asia so far for a number of reasons. Taiwan is where I feel most comfortable. The people are kind, the night market food is amazing

I grew up in California, and first got interested in Asia when I took a Japanese class at West Valley College. After that, I stayed with a host family in Japan, which solidified my interest in Asia.

While at San Jose State University, I participated in a year-long Student Exchange Program, and attended Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. I learned a lot from the experience, and began to see, but necessarily understand, the huge differences between East and West.

Travel, by far, has had the the biggest influence on my life's path thus far.
